After a quick look at your list, we reply by email with a shipping address within 24 hours.

Ship it
Use standard ground shipping with any carrier, such as USPS Ground Advantage or UPS Ground. Keep the receipt or invoice for the shipping label.

Send us the receipt or invoice for the shipping label and we pay you back the shipping cost through PayPal.
Please don't ship anything before we reply with an address.

What we can't take
A few things have to stay with you.
These are too heavy or bulky to ship, or not safe to send. Your local e-waste drop-off is the better home for them.
Anything over 25 lb (about 11 kg) per box, or too bulky for a standard parcel, such as large TVs and big appliances like fridges, washing machines and microwaves
Empty PC cases and other bulky housings with nothing inside
CRT TVs and monitors
Swollen, punctured, leaking or damaged lithium batteries, and loose lithium batteries (devices with an intact built-in battery are fine)
Lead-acid batteries, including car batteries and UPS units that contain them
Fluorescent tubes and bulbs
Smoke detectors
Leaking ink or toner
Fuel-powered equipment
Anything wet, mouldy, contaminated or otherwise hazardous

What happens to it
Put to work, not put away.
Everything you send goes to the workbench behind our videos and designs.

Hardware that still works, or can be made to work again, gets used.

Teardowns show how things are made, for us and for the people who watch.
Kept for parts
Boards, fans, screws and connectors go into future builds and repairs.
Anything we can't use is taken to a local e-waste drop-off. If something on your list isn't a fit, we'll say so when we reply, before you ship.

Is it really free?
Yes. We reimburse your shipping cost once you send us a valid receipt or invoice for the shipping label.
How do I get my shipping cost back?
Reply to our email with the receipt or invoice for the shipping label and we pay you back through PayPal. We reimburse reasonable standard ground shipping; express, overnight and extra insurance aren't covered.
Do you pay for the items?
No. We cover the shipping only.
Can I get a donation or tax receipt?
No. Bankasi Media is a business, not a charity, so we don't issue donation or tax receipts.
What about my data?
Please back it up and wipe the device before you ship. We can't recover anything for you, and we can't guarantee anything left on a device.
Can you collect it?
No. Everything has to be shipped.
Where can I ship from?
From anywhere in the United States. We can't accept shipments from other countries.
What if you can't use something?
We look at your list first and tell you before you ship if something isn't a fit. Anything we can't use after it arrives is taken to a local e-waste drop-off.
